What is offset printing and what can we print? Offset Printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred (or "offset") from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. When used in combination with the lithographic process, which is based on the repulsion of oil and water, the offset technique employs a flat (planographic) image carrier on which the image to be printed obtains ink from ink rollers, while the non-printing area attracts a water-based film (called "fountain solution"), keeping the non-printing areas ink-free.

High Quality is something that many small printers battle because of machine limitations. At Ann Arbor Offset Printing we have one of the most accurate high tech presses running in the country. Often quality is never discussed when customers are searching for a printer, but at Ann Arbor Offset quality is guaranteed with our state of the art printing facility. Check out our video and see inside the press room, we think you will be impressed.

Fast Turnaround is what we do everyday. When the inks dry we go right to the dock. Printing a daily publication such as the New York Times is very demanding and can never be late. Rest assured we understand priority and your need to have high quality printing completed on time!
